[29 Jul 2008|11:31pm] so its the 3rd week of uni. but first electrical lab. quite cool i must say. they gave us some circuit board and couple of wires, motors and together we get a light seeking robot. haha my first creation! pretty crappy but i guess everybody gotta start somewhere! the first monster before i start creating SKYNET. sorry geek in me. if you didn't already know. skynet is the A.I in terminator that enslaves the human race! i digress. so this week i crashed a med lecture, and you'll be surprised! MED lectures are boring. well at least the one i crashed was boring. but there were some pretty cool stuff. i'm surprised that i actually retained some info from that lecture. when i can't remember squat from an engineering lecture. haha madness i say. oh i've started gyming, and this shall be a regular thing and not a half fuck attempted. as my beef cake of a friend says, if you want to be an average guy, do the average guy thing. which is gym once in a while. soo not doing an average guy thing. serious training!! :) on a different note, i just watch batman and it was dark. real dark, which is good because i feel that batman was originally a very dark character and not just a hero on cartoon. there is more of a dark side with in the core of batman. forget the nice fun version you get on tv for the kids. batman should be dark and mysterious and instill fear into little kids. 3 comments|post comment

expensive dinners are worth it [01 May 2008|01:22am] [ music | Beautiful - 10 years ] tonight i went to Nobu for dinner and it totally rocked my world! but it was on the expensive side for a dinner of such small servings. DAMN the food is good, i don't normally eat sushimi but then this time i'm converted! i want to go back!!! down side is that it gets noisy when its packed. NOBU MELBOURNE! some of the stuff we had Beef tataki with onion ponzu and garlic chips, ours had spring onions on top Nobu sashimi tacos - we had yellowtail, salmon, crab and lobster tacos Black Cod with miso sauce! Seared yellowtail with salad and the awesome sauce! Yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno and ponzu sauce and to top it all off. i found out today that my june holidays are like damn long! i'll be on holiday from the 1st of june to the 13th of july! 7 weeks of mayhem! i'm so going to forget everything i've learnt. [25 Apr 2008|08:42pm] so this week is going to be hectic!  first off there is poker night with the singaporeans and after that, thursday night clubbing at wah wah lounge with my cousin for his birthday. friday night off to lavish for round 2 of birthday. saturday lunch with junni and dinner with the cousin again! man, why isn't my brother married? my cousin is 30, married with a kid and my brother is in the limbo and not anywhere near married! but here are pictures of the gang! more photos to come! from the left : Kaihan, Shai, Tim and yours truely jeannie and xiu fen, kaihan's bond girl. at the start of the final table! tim and kaihan took out the supposed 'pros' and had the biggest amt of chips on the table! 5 comments|post comment
